Meet the Students: Lyndsey Burns
Hi! I’m Lyndsey. For the duration of my 20s, I worked as in Concert and Festival Production. It was a very exciting and fun time of my life, and it gave me the chance to travel all over the country and see places I would have never gone to on my own. In 2012, I decided to leave the Entertainment industry to pursue a more rewarding career where I could make a difference in the world. After a few years working for a very well known non-profit, it was clear to me that I still hadn’t found my calling and that all changed in 2015 when I found the Grange Farm School, now known as the Grange School of Adaptive Agriculture.
It’s pretty obvious (if you’ve ever seen me around a furry quadruped) that I love animals. For that reason, amongst others, I am very interested in making a positive impact on the meat industry and raising animals that are well cared for, loved and harvested with gratitude and compassion. I believe that it is important for people to reconnect with their food and where it came from, and to also be consuming food that was grown with love
