The School of Adaptive Agriculture aspires to nurture the knowledge and skills we all need to create a more sustainable food and farming culture. In partnership with local farms and knowledgeable practitioners, we are excited to offer a wide range of programs to lifelong learners.

Through our Farm School, Farm Incubator Program, Workshops, Publications, and special events like the annual Farmers Convergence, the farm school teaches the crafts, skills, science, art, and business of small-scale farming. In addition, we conduct farm tours, farmer-to-farmer exchanges, and offer technical assistance to farmers and ranchers.

The School of Adaptive Agriculture reflects the vibrant diversity of Mendocino County. We welcome white and black, Indigenous, Hispanic and Asian, working class and middles class, straight and queer, immigrant and native born to live and work together, sharing our strengths and supporting one another as we learn new skills and new ways of living with the land on which all alike depend.
