The School of Adaptive Agriculture aspires to nurture the knowledge and skills we all need to create a more sustainable food and farming culture. In partnership with local farms and knowledgeable practitioners, we are excited to offer a wide range of programs to lifelong learners.
Through our Farm School, Farm Incubator Program, Workshops, and special events like the annual Farmers Convergence, the School of Adaptive Agriculture teaches the crafts, skills, science, art, and business of small-scale farming. In addition, we conduct farm tours, farmer-to-farmer exchanges, and offer technical assistance to farmers and ranchers.

At the School of Adaptive Agriculture, we believe that the future of agriculture- and our collective future, depends on our ability to live and work in respectful relationship with one another and the land on which we all depend. To that end, we welcome people of all backgrounds and are committed to cultivating a safe and respectful environment across our campus and programs. We do not tolerate racism, sexism, transphobia, homophobia, Islamophobia, antisemitism, anti-immigrant, anti-Black, or anti-Indigenous discrimination or behavior, nor any other form of exclusion. We actively work to foster a community rooted in mutual respect, accountability, and shared reverence for life. We understand land justice as inseparable from the liberation of all beings. We strive to practice agriculture and education in ways that honor this connection, working toward systems that are just, regenerative, and rooted in right relationship with both people and the planet.
