Creating a Culture of Goodwill on Your Farm
Create the “culture of goodwill” that can make your farm both more efficient and a good place to work, for you and your fellow workers. This workshop explores the leadership, communications and conflict resolution skills we need to build a working farm or workplace team.

Building a cooperative and efficient farm team is essential to making your farm work. This workshop explores proven approaches to creating the culture of goodwill and “buy-in” that can make that happen. We’ll explore the important communications skills and attitudes that go into building your farm team. And we’ll hear about concrete ways in which you can engage and work with your team.
About the Facilitators:
AJ Barrett and Lila Ryan have been helping guide discussions about leadership and workplace culture at the School of Adaptive Agriculture for 8 years. Before that AJ directed the large teams at Child Protective Services and other county agencies for twenty years. Lila is a professional psychologist and a farmer. Caroline Radice has been managing the farm at the School of Adaptive Agriculture for more than five years as well as her own large catering business.
