Ecofarm

January 25, 2017 @ 8:00 am - January 28, 2017 @ 5:00 pm

The School of Adaptive Agriculture will give a short presentation as well as table at the event for the three days. Stop by and say hi at our table and feel free to ask any questions you may have!

Here is more information on the conference:

For nearly four decades, the Ecological Farming Association’s flagship event, the annual EcoFarm Conference, has brought food system stakeholders together for education, networking and celebration. With over 70 workshops offered each year, the EcoFarm Conference is the oldest and largest sustainable agriculture gathering in the western United States. The conference is tailored to those looking for a technical edge: farmers and ranchers (large and small), handlers, marketers, students, educators, researchers, activists, consultants, and governmental agencies.

Conference workshops feature cutting-edge systems, ideas, and perspectives on a range of topics including water and soil management, marketing, processing and distribution, habitat restoration, livestock and range management, regional food systems, agriculture policy, food safety, and much more. Lively entertainment, networking, and community-sourced organic meals contribute to the gathering’s legacy for inspiration and renewal to energize our collective efforts towards an ecological and fair food system.

The 37th annual EcoFarm Conference will be held January 25 – 28, 2017 at the Asilomar Conference Grounds, Pacific Grove, CA. Mark your calendars!
