Beginning Carpentry & Shed Construction

$120This course will take you from beginner basic skills to building an actual 10X12 storage shed. We will cover basic tools, how to hammer nails, safety, laying out a pier foundation, building a floor, framing and erecting walls, exterior paneling, and roof construction.
Session 1: June 29th, 8am to 5pm with hour lunch break
- Basics of carpentry, working with wood properties.
- Safety
- Hammering nails, screwing, sawing
- Laying out a pier foundation
- Building a floor frame
- Installing floor panels
Session 2: June 30th, 8am to 5pm with hour lunch break
- Framing walls and erecting
- Attaching exterior panels
- Installing rafters
- Installing roof sheathing
- Installing metal roofing

Cost: $60 per session or $120 for entire weekend course.
Session 1 is a pre-requisite for taking Session 2.
