How you can help
The School of Adaptive Agriculture works to provide education for people from all walks of life in local food systems and sustainable agriculture — sustainable environmentally, economically, and socially. We aspire to give people the knowledge and tools we all will need to confront the challenges of using the earth’s resources sustainably. Our efforts wouldn’t be possible without generous support from people like you.
We need your help to hire the staff required to keep our programs going. It’s as simple as that. SAA is mostly volunteer run. Always has been. But we need paid staff to provide continuity, follow-through, and the persistence it takes to offer workshops, organize conferences, and run our residential training program. Your contribution, however small, can help us accomplish this goal as we plan for 2023.
You can help in other ways, as well. Share this link on your social media. Encourage your friends to follow us on Facebook and Instagram
And we would love to have you join us as a volunteer.
The School of Adaptive Agriculture is an almost all-volunteer organization. Our volunteer Board not only oversees the School but contributes time and energy to everything from administration to construction. And we periodically send out a call for local experts, and others further afield, to offer workshops in our ongoing workshop series. We’re always looking for new workshop ideas and instructors. Currently, we are also looking for volunteer help with: bookkeeping and office management; website management; promotion and social media; and refurbishing our signage.
If you would like to join our team, or want more information, contact Michael at 707 510-7473 or email office[at]adaptiveagriculture.org.
